About the Shot
A scene toward the end of a Balinese Hindu mass cremation ceremony when all the sarcophagi that took about a month to build and decorate were almost burned to the ground. The ceremony, called Ngaben, is a ritual where the souls of the deceased are freed of their bodies and attachments to this world in order to be free to reincarnate.
