About the Shot
Title: SURREAL BARBADOS Stormy ocean on Barbados' shore. Waves crashing in spectacular way, strong wind blowing salty droplets onto your camera. Clouds moving with a great speed. Camera vibrating from heavy wind like crazy on a strong tripod. A tough weather for nature photography (cleaning not only lenses but also sensor from a salty residue!). But a long exposure of 3 minutes partially froze crazy waters, creating this surreal seascape. It changed high waves to flat water with fog-like effect.
During long edit I contrasted the softness of long exposure with sharpness of rock and crisp water dripping off the flat plateau.
It resulted in an image showing Barbados in a way you don't see very often. Do you agree?
