The image was taken from a helicopter overlooking Bondi beach, Sydney and done using a 'tilt shift' lens - as part of a series highlighting a 'miniature' effect for The Jack Atley Gallery. The picture is not created by Photoshop. It is shot manually with a special tilt shift lens which gives a very small depth of field. The image was deliberately shot from high above to enforce the miniature effect. I was there to shoot the beach. At the time of shooting a number of surfers were in the water which appear as tiny subjects.
