This image was all about right place, right time. I just finished shooting a wedding and a buddy asked if he could ride back with me. We had to walk a few blocks back to the car. Well, wouldn't ya know it? As we turn a corner this scene all but hits me in the face. A perfect setting and lighting for an image I've forever envisioned. The lone Bar Fly leaning against wall outside having a smoke with all his thoughts.. I told him to go have a smoke under the light.. Ironically, he is the consummate Bar Fly and did not bat en eyelash despite a strange "HUH?" kinda look and having just finished a smoke. To this day, he swears it is his favorite picture...
