LAST SHOT This image remains as one of my favorite shots taken home with me from Maui. I have been traveling to the island for quite some time now trying to find the perfect sunset that represents the island. Everyday after hiking through the islands beautiful land I would set up and wait for the sun to set on the water. After countless days and hours and trips back and forth I finally caught my epic sunset. It was the last trip I made to the island, the very last day, and here is the very last shot on my card. My camera was ready and in place and I felt as though the sun was never going to hit the colors I wanted. Then all of sudden out of nowhere the colors started forming only to last a few minutes. As the wave crashed perfectly over the rocks leaving that long mist of water from the long shutter speed I knew my patience had finally paid off and the "Last Shot" was born.
