About the Shot
Tonga is one of the only places in the world where you can have the chance to swim with Humpback whales. The Southern Hemisphere migration sees Humpbacks swim over 5000 miles from Antarctica to places like Tonga to mate and give birth. It is here in Tonga that people can have the chance to swim with these giants and their young. In this image, snorkelers swimming alongside a mother and her calf.
Shot with a Canon 5D Mark ii, 15mm 2.8 fisheye lens and an Aquatech surf housing. ISO 400, f.8 1/500sec.
