About the Shot

The underwater world beneath the waves and above the reef in Tahiti is mesmerizing. You see waves in a totally new light when viewing their behavior below the surface. This is surf photographer Domenic Mosqueira ducking safely under one. Behind him the mountains appear to be a stained glass mosaic window, as seen through the back of the wave.
