The Blue Pool is sacred to the Kuku Yalanji traditional owners of Far North QLD, Australia. For indigenous people of the rainforest country it is a deeply spiritual place used only by aboriginal women. It is a place of fertility and was used as a birthing / bathing / cleansing, and a place for women to share. Amazingly blue and crystal clear, the Blue Pool is surrounded by the oldest rainforest on earth, dating back over 135 million years.
